Registration for 2021 is currently paused.
All participants must pick up their packets (race number, drawstring bag, and commemorative silicone cup) no later than Thursday, April 29, at 7 pm during the Health & Fitness Expo at the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC). The expo is open Thursday, April 29, starting at 4 p.m. If you are entered into more than one event on race weekend, you will receive just one drawstring bag.
Dynamic bib assigning: We are using cutting-edge, dynamic bib assigning, which speeds up our race number pickup process quite a bit. On Tuesday, April 27, we will email each entrant a unique QR code. Print and bring to the expo a copy of your QR code (or show it to us on your phone) to be assigned and receive your race number. If you plan to pick up a race number for someone else, you must have a copy of that person’s QR code (paper copy or on your phone).
The address of the ARC is 201 E. Peabody, Champaign, IL. (See Google’s map.) For parking, see our parking map.
If you can’t get to the expo, you can have someone else pick up your number for you as long as that person has a copy (paper or electronic) of the QR code we emailed you.
All Mile entrants will receive a 16-ounce logoed silicone cup. From the patio to the campground, beach vacation or daily commute, these colorful, versatile drinking glasses are as flexible in shape as they are in utility. The silicone cup has thick and sturdy, yet squeezable walls that are not too squishy, and a grippy outer surface for extra safety. Perfect for any beverage! Mile finishers receive an awesome challenge coin at the finish line.
After you finish your wave and get your awesome challenge coin, you’ll be directed to The City Center, adjacent to the finish line area, for postrace refreshments (including Little John sandwiches from Jimmy John’s) and entertainment. An award ceremony will begin at 8:30 p.m.
Three-deep awards will be presented at The City Center right after the last wave in the following age groups. Age-group awards are based on chip time.
