Lodgic Everyday Community is partnering with the race to offer free childcare on April 25, 2020 at their Kids Camp. Whether you’re a CU local, or traveling in for the weekend, whether you’re a race entrant or a volunteer, Lodgic can help with your childcare needs!
Free childcare on April 25 runs from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 am. Lodgic is at 1807 S. Neil Street, just a few blocks from the race start at the intersection of First and St Mary’s.
Kids Camp is a DCFS-licensed center with wonderful, professionally trained staff members who focus on nurturing children. The staff is First Aid, CPR, and Standard Precautions-certified, so you’ll know your children are safe and you can focus on your run or volunteer duties. The Lodgic Kids Camp environment is designed to foster creativity while empowering children as active participants in their own learning. The classroom is strategically staged for learning, with attractive, age-appropriate, natural, authentic, and open-ended learning materials.
Because Lodgic is a DCFS-licensed childcare center, all children who’ll be hanging with them on race day should have a completed packet and annual enrollment fee of $60 on file at Kids Camp by Monday, April 13. This enrollment is good for one year and gives you access to pay-by-the-hour childcare any time you need it, even after race weekend!
Free childcare is available from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 25. Parents are welcome to pick-up any time after 11:30 a.m. and simply pay a fee of $12/child (+$5/sibling) per hour after 11:30 AM.
Space is limited to 24 spots and will be granted on a first-enroll, first-serve basis.
You can sign up for the free spots using this form, at https://forms.gle/ay3JuJfXM5J4KqX99. Once you sign-up for a free spot, you can get one step ahead of the game by downloading, printing, and completing the enrollment packet. Someone from Kids Camp will follow-up to help walk you through the enrollment process to ensure race day drop-off is as smooth and quick as possible!
