Could you be a FACE OF THE RACE? Our TV partner, WCIA Channel 3, is looking for participants in the 2017 Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon Weekend who have compelling stories. Why are you running our event? For health or weight loss purposes, to overcome adversity, in memory of a loved one, to raise money for a charity, as part of a personal goal? Even if you are not a runner but participate in the Illinois Marathon through volunteerism, please consider sharing your story.

If chosen, you will appear on a taped segment on the WCIA/WCIX news leading up to this year’s race and help inspire other runners, volunteers, and community members (your segment may also be included in Channel 3’s race day broadcast “The Extra Mile”). Interviews are done in Champaign.
